Meanwhile, Karate events that roundup in style had a memorable and colorful medal presentation yesterday as a total of seventeen new athletes were discovered in various weight categories.
However, Abigail Mamden of Christ Royal College, Plateau State; Chineye Agbo (GSS) Nasarawa State; Idowu Esther of Ebenezer Noble School Lagos; Nwangwu Chidinma from Unity Comprehensive Anambra; Ejoba Angubola of New Era School Edo State among others are the newly discovered talents in the combat Sport.
Shockingly, team Lagos are occupying first position with won 20 gold, 9 silver, 7 bronze total of 36 medals; Edo State setting at second position with 19 gold, 6 silver, 7 bronze; third position Abia with 8 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze; Akwa Ibom are fourth on the log with 6 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze; while host Delta State at fifth position with 5 gold, 9 silver, 16 bronze and its Day 7 already but more competitiveness and records will be set; broken soon.
Interestingly, team Edo amass 6 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze in the Women 44kg, 48kg, and 56kg in the Men Weightlifting events as Akwa Ibom recorded 2 gold, 1 bronze while Niger State won 1 gold, 2 silver also, they had a remarkable event with unforgettable experience at the medal presentation yesterday.
Meanwhile, Table Tennis also known as Pingpong, Para-Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Fives, Rugby finished their event on a successful note while awaiting medal presentation today.
