Troops of the Mobile Strike Team under Operation FASAN YAMMA have eliminated several high-profile terrorists during a coordinated offensive near Ƙunchin Kalgo town in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State on 10 June 2025.
Among those neutralized was a notorious terrorist identified as Auta, alongside his known collaborators Abdul Jamilu and Salisu.
However, the trio had long been linked to a series of violent attacks and terrorist activities that have threatened peace and stability in the region.
Preliminary intelligence further suggests that two additional terrorist kingpins, including an individual identified as Babayé, were also killed in the operation. In a separate but related development, troops reportedly neutralized Sale Ado Madele, also known as Sarki, the eldest son of the notorious bandit leader Ado Alieru.
Meanwhile, in another coordinated effort, troops engaged and eliminated ten terrorists who had gathered near a filling station in Danjibga. The group is believed to have been mobilized by a terror syndicate led by Dogo Sule, allegedly in preparation for an impending attack.
The Nigerian Armed Forces reaffirm their commitment to protecting civilian lives and restoring peace and stability across Zamfara State and the broader North-West region. This latest operation highlights the military's ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and ensure justice for victims of violence.
