COWA Congratulates Customs CGC Adeniyi on Tenure Extension, Commends Leadership Reforms

The Customs Officers’ Wives Association (COWA) has congratulated the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, on the extension of his tenure as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).


In a congratulatory message, the association described the tenure extension as a recognition of CGC Adeniyi’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to repositioning the Nigeria Customs Service for greater efficiency and improved service delivery.


COWA commended the Customs helmsman for his transformative initiatives, particularly his focus on innovation, trade facilitation, institutional development, and strengthening the capacity of the Service to contribute to national growth.


The association noted that CGC Adeniyi’s leadership has continued to inspire confidence among officers and stakeholders, while advancing efforts towards building a modern and globally respected Customs administration.


“As you continue this remarkable journey of service to our nation, we pray for greater wisdom, strength, and success as you advance the vision of a modern, efficient, and globally respected Nigeria Customs Service,” COWA stated.


The association further wished the Comptroller-General continued success in his renewed tenure and expressed optimism that his leadership would further consolidate ongoing reforms within the Service.
