The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reported significant operational and institutional progress within the first 100 days of leadership under the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke.
According to the Service, the period has been marked by strengthened combat readiness, an increased tempo of air operations, and reinforced mission support structures.
The developments reflect what officials describe as a deliberate leadership strategy focused on effectiveness, accountability, and clear operational direction aimed at building a smarter and more responsive Air Force.
A documentary released to highlight the milestone outlined key achievements recorded during the period, including improved aircraft serviceability, targeted infrastructure upgrades, enhanced welfare programmes for personnel, and a renewed emphasis on mission-oriented training and preparedness.
Military authorities noted that the initiatives form part of a coordinated effort to align the Air Force’s operational capabilities with Nigeria’s evolving national security priorities while strengthening institutional resilience.
The Service added that the first 100 days of the new air leadership signal what it called a disciplined, results driven start centred on reform and forward looking command direction, laying the groundwork for sustained operational transformation in the months ahead.
