Prophet(Dr) David Udo Udo was born into a humble family in MKPAT EMIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT Area of AKWA IBOM STATE, NIGERIA. He received his divine calling at the age of 19 years and by the age of 25 years, he assumed leadership and he has by the grace of God, devoted his life wholly to Christian service, As the Founder and General Overseer of The Apostolic Mount Olive Church (TAMOC). Prophet (Dr )David Udo Udo has continued to make notable spiritual and humanitarian contributions.
Since the inception of the Ministry on the 23 day of April 2000 with the mandate to Propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ across all the tribes and Nation, healing to the sick and Salvation to the lost souls. a mission he has steadfastly pursued over the years.
Brief Background of the Ministry
The Apostolic Mount Olive Church (TAMOC) was founded in 2000, beginning humbly in a widow’s residence within Mini-Okoro Police Barracks and later at Mini-Ewa, Rumuobiakani, Port Harcourt.
Over the years, the ministry has recorded numerous testimonies of Salvation, healings, deliverances, and miracles, impacting lives across Nigeria and beyond. With over 30 years of ministerial experience, Prophet (Dr) David Udo Udo is by the grace of God widely known for his sound teaching of God's word, and accurate prophetic ministration by the enablement of the Holy spirit and deep compassion for people from all walks of life.
From an initial congregation of just eight members, comprising five adults and three children, The Apostolic Mount Olive Church has grown steadily into a vibrant church network with multiple branches across Nigeria, as well as international outreaches in Boston United States.
In 2004, the church acquired and dedicated its first permanent structure at 27 Apa Moto Road, Elelenwo, which now serves as its National Headquarters. Further expansion followed in 2013 with the acquisition of land for the International Headquarters and Convention Ground, known as The Beautiful City Gate, located in IKOT NTOT, MKPAT EMIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT Area of AKWA IBOM STATE.
Between 2010 and 2020. The Apostolic Mount Olive Church marked its 10th and 20th anniversaries, celebrating two decades of sustained growth and ministry impact.
Humanitarian Services
In furtherance of his commitment to humanitarian service, particularly to the less privileged, Prophet (Dr) David Udo Udo formally launched a philanthropic platform known as the Eunice Foundation to extend care and support to vulnerable members of the society. A foundation, named after his first daughter, This reflect his deep dedication to community development and social responsibility.
The Eunice Foundation serves as the humanitarian arm of the church, focusing on supporting congregation, the elderly, widows, orphans, internally displaced persons, and other vulnerable groups.
Over the years, the foundation has remained actively involved in the distribution of food items, medical assistance, and relief materials, especially during critical periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic and times of economic hardship.
Education has also been a key priority of the foundation, with scholarships awarded to deserving students and the provision of JAMB forms to support access to higher education.
Beyond his pastoral and humanitarian engagements, He has also made notable contributions through authorship, having written three books focused on Christian living and spiritual growth.
