The newly appointed Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Kenedy Chukwuemeka Ezete, has commenced his tour of duty with a strong emphasis on inter-service cooperation.
He received a courtesy visit from Air Vice Marshal Aneke, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Mobility Command, Nigerian Air Force, Yenagoa.
The visit, which took place at the Headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command in Calabar, signified the longstanding camaraderie and strategic partnership between the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force.
However, the discussions during the meeting centred on strengthening operational synergy, particularly in the areas of aerial reconnaissance and intelligence sharing across the South-South region.
Air Vice Marshal Aneke congratulated Rear Admiral Ezete on his appointment and assured him of the Nigerian Air Force’s continued support. In response, Rear Admiral Ezete expressed gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to deepening inter-agency collaboration in pursuit of national security objectives.
The engagement was attended by principal staff officers from the Eastern Naval Command. Highlights included the exchange of commemorative souvenirs and group photographs to mark the occasion.
