Defence Minister Badaru Visits Troops in Birnin Kebbi, Rallies Support in Fight Against Insecurity

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has paid an operational visit to Nigerian Army troops stationed at Dukku Barracks in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, as part of ongoing efforts to assess and boost military operations in the North West.


The Minister conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s heartfelt appreciation to the troops for their dedication and sacrifices in the fight against banditry and other criminal activities threatening national peace and stability.


Commending the soldiers for their professionalism, courage, and tireless service, Badaru reaffirmed the government's unwavering support for the armed forces, noting that efforts are being intensified to provide the resources and welfare needed to enhance operational efficiency.


"The President and the nation are profoundly grateful for your unwavering commitment," he told the troops, urging them to redouble their efforts. “It is time to finish all aspects of insecurity,” he declared, prompting a resounding affirmation from the soldiers.


The visit, which aimed to both evaluate the progress of military operations and boost troop morale, highlighted the Federal Government's renewed drive to restore peace and security across the country.
