Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, is participating in the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum in China, where global security and peacebuilding are at the forefront of discussions.
The high-level gathering, themed “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development,” convened defence and military leaders from more than 100 countries, including Singapore, Russia, France, Vietnam, Brazil, and Nigeria, alongside representatives of international and regional organisations.
The Forum features four plenary sessions and eight simultaneous sessions, addressing critical issues such as global security governance, Asia-Pacific security cooperation, safeguarding international order, and strengthening regional peace.
By attending, Nigeria reaffirms its commitment to international dialogue and cooperation in promoting global peace and stability.
